COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Plant and animal interactions on rangeland will be the topic of a June 4 Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management Unit range webinar.

The webinar is part of the Texas Range Webinar Series, scheduled the first Thursday of each month from noon to 1 p.m., said Pete Flores, AgriLife Extension webinar coordinator in Corpus Christi.

Bob Lyons, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension range specialist in Uvalde, will be the presenter.

The webinar will deal with what grazing and browsing animals want, how range animals learn what to eat, how animal anatomy affects what animals eat and livestock/wildlife competition for resources.

There will be no Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education offered, Flores said, so it is free to all.

For more information on the webinars, contact Flores at pflores@ag.tamu.edu.
